What is My Bibliography?
My Bibliography is a tool with the MyNCBI Account which lets you collect articles that you have written into a central place.
This is also the tool required in order to track and maintain your compliance with the NIH Public Access Policy, if you have received NIH funding.
My Bibliography is not used to collect articles written by others that you may use in your research. For that functionality, you would use a Collection.
How do I add items to My Bibliography?
From a results list, select the items you want to save, then click on Send To and choose My Bibliography at the top of the screen.
You can also send individual items to My Bibliography from within a single PubMed record.
How do I access My Bibliography?
To access My Bibliography in the future, click on your username in the top right-hand corner of any PubMed screen, and select your Dashboard.
How do I remove items from My Bibliography?
If you would like to remove items from My Bibliography, click on the Manage My Bibliography link within the My Bibliography box on the Dashboard.
This will bring you to a list of all the items in My Bibliography. You can select the items you want to delete, then click Manage Citations at the top of the page and select Delete Citations.
