Introduction to the Health Sciences Library

Prior Hall consists of eight floors including the basement; floors 1-5 contain Health Sciences Library spaces.

First floor library spaces include:

• Circulation desk
  • Check out and return print books and journals, bones and models, headphones, locker keys and more!
  • Get basic reference assistance
  • Ask questions about HSL spaces, resources, and services
  • Pick up your Medical Visuals posters and proofs
• Study space
• Bike desk
• Flexi-POD privacy booth
• Public computers and printers

Second floor library spaces include:

• Study space
• Bike desks
• Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy Practice Room

Third floor library spaces include:

• Quiet study space
• Silent study space
• Group study rooms
• Meditation room:
  • Includes amenities such as soft, comfortable furnishings and prayer rugs
• Medical Student Learning Commons

Fourth floor library spaces include:
