RStudio is available in two versions, one for use on a desktop and one that can be used while accessing a server.

Technical Requirements

RStudio requires that R is installed prior to installation. The number of cores, the speed of cores, and the amount of RAM is highly dependent on the work that will be done while using the software, though the recommended minimum requirements are 4 GB RAM. RStudio is available for all Mac, Windows, and Linux users.
