RStudio provides convenient and easy-to-use tools for plotting, history, debugging, and workspace management for optimal managing of files. Users can make use of a source-code editor and console. RStudio is available in two versions, one for use on a desktop and one that can be used while accessing a server.

DataCamp
DataCamp provides free Introduction to R tutorial covering many basics including vectors, matrices, factors, data frames, and lists. Text based exercises have the R console built into the interface to allow real-time feedback on the operation you are learning.
SwirlStats
Swirl teaches R using R itself. Requires installation of the “swirl” package in R and using the R Studio interface is highly recommended (a separate installation). Courses must also be installed.
