Health Information for the Public

Websites

Websites are full of great health information. When looking at a website remember to keep in mind:

  • Who runs the site?
  • Why have they created the site?
  • What do they want from you?
  • Who is paying for the site?
  • Is the information from experts?
  • Does the site make unbelievable claims?
  • Is the site current, up-to-date?
  • If they ask for your personal information, what will they do with it?

Below are some reliable websites.
