Recommended Databases

The following databases are the top recommended resources for health sciences research.  They can also be accessed directly from the Library's homepage.

Supplementary Databases

When deciding which database to search, be sure to consider your topic and where that subject may be best covered.

Depending on the desired comprehensiveness or your particular topic, you may also want to search in a supplementary database.

Below are some common supplementary databases you may want to consider, but you can also view a complete list of all databases available through the Health Sciences Library as well as the University Libraries.

When researching education topics, try searching all three of the following databases simultaneously through the EBSCOHost interface.  To search them all at the same time, select one below then click on Choose Databases at the top of the screen to add in the others.

If you don't see the database you would like to search on this page, check out the following links to see a full list of all databases available.

Background Resources

If you are looking for more general information to give you a broad overview of a topic, or to help fill in your background knowledge, try the following resources.
