The Ohio State University Medical Heritage Center is the special collections of the Health Sciences Library. The Center preserves, promotes, teaches and celebrates the health care legacy of central Ohio through its collections of rare books, archives and medical artifacts.

Comprised of the museum, archives, and collections of rare books, artifacts, and images, the Center originated as part of the Cleveland Medical Library Association (est. 1894) and today functions as an interdisciplinary study center within the College of Arts and Sciences of Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio.

The Lloyd Library in Cincinnati holds, acquires, preserves, and provides access to both historic and current books and journals, as well as archival materials, on a wide variety of disciplines that fall under the subjects of natural history, botany, pharmacy, medicine, scientific history, and visual arts.

OHC collects, preserves and makes available to the public written and graphic information concerning Ohio's history. As the State Archives of Ohio, it is also the designated repository for state government records of enduring historical value. An extensive collection of newspapers, photographs, manuscripts, books, maps and more are available to the public in their third-floor Research Room at the Ohio History Center in Columbus.

OSU Libraries provides patrons with access to information at 15 locations across the Columbus campus, through the website, and by phone. Access to the library catalog is through this website.
