The filter options on the left side of the screen have been updated & improved


What does this mean?

  • Results by Year: There is now a slider bar to adjust the years of the search
  • Article Type: More popular types of articles, such as Systematic Review and Randomized Controlled Trial, will appear automatically
  • Additional Filters: Click on the Additional Filters button to see all of the options available


Preview Snippets

Snippets of the abstract will now display on the results page


What does this mean?

  • Snippets: You will see a brief snippet of the article abstract display on the results page underneath the title
  • Search Terms: Your search terms will be bolded so that you can easily see how they are appearing in the item


Display Options

Display Options are available at the top of the screen


What does this mean?

  • Display Options: There is a button at the top right corner of the results list that lets you change how the results display
  • Sort Order: Choose between Best Match, Most Recent, or Publication Date for how results are sorted
  • Summary vs Abstract: The default is summary view, which just includes the title and abstract snippet.  You can switch to Abstract view, which includes the full abstract, plus an expandable MeSH terms section and links to full text options.
  • Results Per Page: The default is to load 10 results, but you can increase this to 20, 50, 100, or 200.  You can also choose to Load More at the bottom of the list.
